18th Tandem Evening in Warsaw :)

Dear All,

Last time I was said maybe to recommend a topic for the next meeting. Yesterday, I read an article about a financial crisis and I accidently found out about the Gerald Celente. I think I read some articles about this guy in the past, but I didn’t pay attention on his work.

Gerald Celente is an American trend forecaster who makes predictions about the global financial markets and other events of historical importance.
“In December 2007 Celente wrote, "Failing banks, busted brokerages, toppled corporate giants, bankrupt cities, states in default, foreign creditors cashing out of US securities ... whatever the spark, the stage is set for panic in the streets" and "Just as the Twin Towers collapsed from the top down, so too will the U.S. economy ...”
“In November 2008 Celente appeared on Fox Business Network and predicted economic depression, tax rebellions and food riots in the United States by 2012.”

Everybody heard what’s going on in the USA and other countries in financial sectors. That has influence on everybody’s life.

My proposition of the next topic for the next Tandem Evening’s meeting is:
IS THE FINANCIAL CRISIS OVER? OR MAYBE NOT? WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE?

Here is sth about Gerald Celente:

and his web page:

I would like to hear your opinions and share my point of view. The topic is very tough, but very import and interesting. I am not an expert in this field, but it’s not the point to be an export. The point is to discuss, to talk about the topic.

If you don’t want to discuss about it, you can talk about something else.
I believe in freedom and in free will.

Let’s go into the details related the next meeting!

The next Tandem Evening is going to take place on Tuesday, 16th of March 2010, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., in a tearoom Herba Thea, at Bruna St 20, close to the subway Pole Mokotowskie.

Everybody whose aim is to practice foreign languages, enjoy time in an interesting way with interested people is very welcome. We would like to speak as many languages as possible, thus all foreigners are ever more than welcome:). We would very appreciate if you could distribute the message about our meetings to your friends:).

The tearoom Herba Thea is a very quite, cosy place with their own style. You can order there lots of hot drinks. There are many types of tea, coffee and hot alcohol. There is as well something to eat in the menu.
Here is the web page of Herba Thea: http://www.herbathea.pl/wydarzenia.html.
